Chris was watching Nixon climb on this green box and turned his back for a few moments...
I made the mistake of letting him pee outside when we were desperate for a bathroom (in the midst of potty training). And I let him pee on a tree. Now you turn your back for one second and he drops his pants and pees anywhere. He is obsessed with peeing outside on shrubbery or trees. Reminds me of two little boys I knew........

This was our Saturday Easter. We had lots of family around! My brother Cameron is in India on a school health service trip and his family (Rhiannon, Kyrmy, and Bryton) came to visit us for the weekend! We also spent time with my sister, Candice, and her husband, TJ, and their kids, Adael and Briggy. We had lots of cousin time and they all enjoyed it as you can see from the pictures.
The kids played outside riding bikes, tricycles, and scooters.

This is a short clip of the Nixon at the city Easter egg hunt. It was for 0 to 3 year olds, so he actually was able to get a lot of eggs - the max of 22. He had a lot of fun. We went with his cousin Bryton and met his friend Kaden there. Maddy was not involved in any of the festivities because she was sick at home with Chris watching her.

After the egg hunt, we went to Adael's house and dyed Easter eggs with Kymry and Adael (and Bryton and Briggy who are not in this picture).

This was Maddy's first real moving crawl about 2 weeks ago. Chris took this video on his camera phone and sent it to me while I was at work! I missed it! She is now crawling around quite well!

We went to the sheep barns today with Nixon's friend Kayden and saw the lambs. We didn't see any lambs being born though. Nixon thought it was a lot of fun, but was cold. We didn't dress warm enough.
Nixon liked the lambs, but for some reason was afraid of the sheep, or "big ones" as he called it.

This is Nixon enjoying his last gymnastics class. He wants to do soccer again. I have been telling him that he has to be a good listener in order for me to sign him up for soccer. He told me that he would listen to Mommy and the "gymnastics girls" so he could do soccer again. We quit soccer because he wasn't listening too well to the coaches.

Nixon has had a lot of fun in gymnastics. He has learned to balance very well and has become very coordinated!

On Wednesday, we went to the park with Nixon's cousin Brig and Aunt Candice. They had fun on the slides and ate raisins. I worked Thursday and Friday.
Chris and Madyx were enjoying themselves, watching us skate around the rink. Chris thought it was the most entertaining Saturday he has had in awhile (ha, ha). He was a good sport and let me skate with Nixon:)
We went rollerskating with all the cousins - Bryton, Kymry, Adael, and Brig. It was our first time and Nixon did pretty well. He kind of got the hang of it by the end. We'll see if he wants to go again - he was ready to be done when the rink closed. Afterwards we all went out and got a bite to eat.
Cameron and Rhiannon came down from Portland this weekend, so Nixon gets to enjoy his cousins! This is Bryton and Nixon being firemen.

Well, I am a sucker for food photos! I have lots of pictures of Nixon when he first started eating solids. I love to take pictures of messy faces. Of course when taking pictures of Madyx, I always take a few of Nixon so he doesn't feel left out. And I can't ignore the ten zillion times he is calling out,"Take a picture of me!" while I am snapping pics of Maddy. You can probably see that at 7 months old she has 6 teeth coming in. Her gums are bulging! She has her central incisors and her top lateral incisors are coming in too!

I have given in to the blog! I didn't think I would ever do it, but I have. I am hoping this will not become too time consuming for me. The goal of my blog is to share photos and videos and a little of what we do without inundating our friend's and family's e-mails with photos all the time. It probably will be sloppy for a bit until I get the hang of it!
