Well it has been forever since I updated this blog! We have been very busy. We went on a trip to Wyoming (almost all the pictures that follow), and when we got back we had my brother-in-law TJ here staying with us. He helped us get a lot of "guy" things done around here which was nice. He and Candice are moving to Washington and they had some of their stuff here. TJ moved everything about a week later. A couple of days later we went to the zoo with Chris' family (picture to follow in another post) and his sister and husband are staying with us for about 8 days. Chris' dad is getting married this weekend, so we have a lot of family around which has been very fun and busy. We also went to the coast yesterday. But I will update just the end of June/beginning of July pics.

We went to my Aunt Kathy's house to see all her new kitten's. This is Kyrmy, Nixon and Maddy. Maddy went nuts, screaming with excitement. Nixon was excited until their claws hooked on his shirt and then he thought they were trying to get him!

Nixon caught a fish with Papa! That was exciting until the fish came out flipping around and then Nixon wanted nothing to do with it. He caught 3 fish with Papa.

Nixon loved playing in the marshy area by the lake. It looked pretty gross to me, but he spent at least an hour running back and forth in it.

AS you can see my brother-in-law TJ really enjoyed the beautiful flowers. He got a little out of hand...
My sister Candice took the kids out on a tube float in the lake by where we were camping. It looks like Nixon, Adael, and Kyrmy kind of enjoyed it...
I took Nixon and cousin Kymry out on the pontoon. Kymry said I was way slower and not as fun as Grandpa so she got off pretty quickly. She regretted it a few minutes later when I was cruising around the lake!
I forgot to bring a spoon to the lake to feed Maddy (while we were camping) and we improvised with a straw. I think Maddy did quite well sucking all her carrots through a straw!
Nixon's first "offical" swimming lesson where parents don't get in the water with him. It has been hard getting him in and participating each Tues and Thurs. We have been using a combination of bribes and threats that have seemed to work so far.
I gave Maddy a very ripe plum to keep her occupied while I cleaned the kitchen up a bit. I wasn't paying much attention and when I did, I found her like this!!
We took a bunch of pictures of Maddy and Nixon at the park. It was pretty fun. Chris is loving the camera and snapping shots of the kids!

We went to the coast with Grandpa Pat, Nana Karren, and Chris' sister and her family (Chad, Marren, and Ellis). It was a great day! It was sunny and breezy.
Nixon enjoyed playing in the water, building sand castles, and seeing the wading pools with lots of marine life.

Maddy enjoyed playing in the sand, but really wanted to get wet. So I took most of her clothes off so she wouldn't be cold and wet.

Maddy loved the icy cold water. I could not believe how excited she was to get in. I didn't let her get this wet until right before we left, because it was REALLY cold water. She went crazy!
