Nixon is 3 years old (almost! June 24). We had a little friend birthday party for him Tuesday. It was a lot of fun and went pretty well! They jumped on the tramp with water balloons. That was a hit! Bubble time! The kids loved it.

Nixon requested a Candyland cake! He likes the game, but he likes the candy even more. He inherited his parents sweet tooth. He went crazy when he saw it. He was so excited.
Nixon's favorite part is blowing the candles! As you can see his cousin, Adael, helped him blow out his candles. She said she just was whistling and "accidentally" blew out the candles with him.

Grandpa Pat, NIxon and Chris went on our ward's church Father-son campout. It was the second time Nixon has been camping. He loved it. Chris especially loved waking up at 5 a.m. when Nixon arose (and Grandpa Pat then went out and played with him while Chris tried to sleep). What a great Grandpa and Dad! Nixon thought it was awesome!

We got out the adult baseball gear and let Nixon try to hit the ball. He loved it. He actually hit the ball several times. We set up little bases for him around the yard. He has become obsessed with baseball now. He asks to play baseball the minute he wakes up in the morning.

Nixon had a little accident at the playground today when he was playing with his friend Kaden. He cried but got over it pretty quickly! He wanted me to take pictures of it. It reminds me of when I was learning to ride a bike and my dad promised not to let go of me, which of course he did. I was doing just fine until I realized he had let go and then I had a pretty big crash. While I was crying Mom or Dad took pictures of my road rash. Pretty nice, eh?
